We have not stopped recommending this experience to our friends since our return home from Vietnam. We were 2 couples on a 2 berth junk enjoying a private cruise. From the excellent food, the activities to our 6 gorgeous staff and in particular our guide Thao who we all wanted to bring home with us. Nothing could be faulted. We were the last guests in before the junk was going in for refurbishment and an even higher standard of finish which makes for a great excuse to revisit sooner rather than later.

My partner and I had a wonderful experience on the Bhaya Legend. We chose the private cruise. The views where amazing. The staff on board where all fantastic. The places we visited where such a great experience. Our Butler Tien was very knowledgeable about the area and the history. His fun outgoing personality really made the journey a pleasurable one. The Chef's cooking was out of this world.. so delicious and beautifully presented. We highly recommend this cruise.

"Bhaya Legend 1, two night cruise"
We just cruised two nights on Legend 1 with Thang Bee and his amazing crew, we were treated like royalty by all the crew. The meals were stunning, the vessel was very comfortable and the facilities were of a high standard. But what stood out for us was the wonderful care shown to us by Bee and all of he team, nothing was a problem and they took us anywhere we wanted and it was timed when all the crowds were gone, we hiked through the large surprise cave and we were the only people in there. The crew laughed and spoke with us all the time and were so friendly and honest. What an amazing experience.

"Le luxe d'une jonque privée dans la Baie d'Halong"
En octobre 2013, nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel sur ce bateau privé exclusivement pour nous 4 (2 jours, 1 nuit). Le personnel était aux petits soins, et la cuisine était digne d'un restaurant gastronomique. Nous avons navigué dans la Baie d'Halong qui est aussi magique qu'on peut l'imaginer. Dans notre programme, nous avons visité: un village flottant, une exploitation de perles, et la grotte Hang Sung Sot. Nous avons aussi fait du kayak librement dans une baie "déserte", et avons plongé depuis le toit du bateau ! Ce séjour reste un souvenir mémorable que nous sommes heureux d'avoir partagé avec nos fils adolescents. A faire une fois dans sa vie!!

Nous avons passé deux nuits en famille sur une jonque privatisée Bhaya Legend, de trois chambres. Chaque chambre est luxueusement équipée, possède un balcon, l'air conditionné et une salle de bain individuelle avec baignoire, douche et WC. Un cuisinier prépare les repas, excellents, qui se prennent soit dans la salle à manger couverte sur le pont inférieur soit sur le pont supérieur découvert. Au programme de la croisière visites, baignades à partir du bateau, excursion en kayak ou en chaloupe vers des ilots, des lagons ou des villages flottants, séance de Tai chi le matin et un cours de cuisine. L'équipage est efficace, prévenant et toujours très agréable (Huy, le maitre d'hotel, Chung le capitaine, Quyen le mécanicien, Hung le cuisinier, Duong serveur, Hung marin et entretien). Un grand moment de notre voyage au Vietnam

This trip was fantastic. All the crew is excellent,but special mention to the manager on board,really a nice guy and much more competent,and to the "chef" so young but with a huge talent;the food was a great moment, and the choice of wine was nice. "Amazing cruise"
We had taken a 3D/2N cruise on the bay on a 2 cabins private cruise. This allows extensive visit of lagoons villages and other amazing sites. The crew was very friendly and helpful. The boatis of good size for 4. Food was absolutely amazing. Outstanding experience!

"Perfect!"
We spent a few days on the Bhaya Legend junk in November. Tien, our lovely butler, met us the moment we arrived at the port and couldn't have done more for us during our stay. Our twin cabin was very nice with lovely soft sheets and comfortable beds and a little private balcony. The bathroom was huge, with both a large shower cubicle and a separate bath. The food (five courses at lunch and five courses at dinner!), cooked by Hau, was amazing - what a talented guy - and we also enjoyed his cookery demonstration very much. Other highlights were the early morning T'ai Chi, the visit to the spectacular caves and to the fishing village. We also visited a pearl farm and a lovely secluded beach. We were really sad to leave the boat and felt the 7 strong crew couldn't have done enough to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Thank you Tien and team!

"Legend private boat charter"
We had a private charter,just for the family. There was a total of 7 crew looking after us which was amazing. We had an amazing time, seeing incredible sites and hearing the history from our butler who came out with us onto an island, taking us to a village and beautiful cave. The boat was lovely, and the chef created beautiful food , a combination of western and vietnamese which was great. Everything was faultless , even having turkey on Christmas day. Our two boys aged 16 and 18 wanted to fish which was organised by the crew and we all ended up squid fishing at night which was fun.

"Fantastic from top to bottom"
We enjoyed an amazing 2 nights and 3 days on a Bhaya Legend. Nothing was too much trouble for the crew, especially our Butler, Chris. Total flexibility followed excellent advise on the options. Our 2 young children (9 and 6) were equally impressed and they were brilliantly entertained by both on and off the boat. Halong speaks for itself so add it up and its hard to think of what we could improve.

"Awesome cruise"
Our family of 4 adults had a spectacular cruise of Halong Bay with Bhaya Legend Cruises. We traveled on a private cruise with a full staff of wonderful people. Tinh was our host and made us feel very welcome and comfortable on the boat. The accommodations were top rate; each suite had a king-size bed, a large 4 piece bathroom,plenty of storage and a comfortable balcony. Our chef cooked incredible fresh meals, some of the best on our week long visit in Viet Nam. We also had a cooking class where we made spring rolls and learned to cut tomatoes into rose garnishes. Our travels took us to a fishing village and a serene kayak tour, a pearl farm and the Surprise Grotto. We were offered the opportunity to swim or kayak as well, but we were "too busy" enjoying the beauty of the Bay up on the deck of our boat. This is a trip not to be missed. Halong Bay is stunningly beautiful and Tinh, our Chef and the rest of the crew made it a perfect adventure...a wonderful family memory!

"Gorgeous and relaxing trip to Halong Bay"
My wife and I did a 3 day 2 night private charter on a Bhaya Legend boat. Our butler Huy was excellent at attending to our every need. The private charter let us be very flexible with where and how we visited Halong, and when we explained to Huy our desire was not to be mobbed in with the other tour boats (there are a lot of other tour boats) he did a great job of making us feel like Halong Bay was much more private than it otherwise would have been. This was a truly memorable experience and an absolute must for anyone visiting Vietnam!

"Amazing Trip!"
We loved our stay on Legend 3! The boat was perfect for the four of us (two couples). The rooms were comfy and clean. The food was amazing. The views and side trips (caving and kayaking) were spectacular. Lam, our guide was great. We really enjoyed sitting with him after dinner and learning more about him and all the interesting tidbits he knows about Halong Bay and Vietnam in general! We would highly recommend!
