Bhaya Group’s staffs received VTOS certificate

VTOS is the abbreviation for Vietnam Tourism Occupational Standards which is “defined as the standards of performance that people are expected to achieve in their work, and the knowledge and skills they need to perform effectively” (esrt.vn). The new version will include units on Responsible Tourism.

This is a project funded by the European Union and implemented by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism. VTOS aims to upgrade the quality of human resources in Vietnam's tourism industry. The standard was introduced and implemented at a nationwide level.

With genuine commitment to service quality, Bhaya Group actively takes part in this great project by sending staffs to attend the training course. Ms. Bui Thi Mai - Senior Operations Supervisor and Ms. Le Huyen Nga - Training Manager are honored to represent Bhaya Group in the trainer’s course which delivers skills and knowledge so that they can become the VTOS trainer for others. The Trainer Development Programme are accredited by the Vietnam Tourism Certification Board.

After finishing 2 courses within the program, Ms.Mai and Ms. Nga received the certificate and recognized as qualified VTOS trainers in which Ms. Nga continued to attend Master trainer course. “The course was conducted for Trainers who will be delivering the ‘Training of Trainer’ programmes for future VTOS Trainers. In addition, the Master Trainers will be supporting and familiarizing the Trainers with the implementation of the new VTOS system for dissemination to Tourism educational and industry establishments throughout Vietnam” (esrt.vn)

Now, Bhaya Group is applying these standards and more important the training methods into our training program. We have very own development goals. Therefore, the standards are selected and adjusted accordingly. Bhaya Group’s training program aligns with VTOS competency standards and consists of  a range of units that specify for different departments including front office, housekeeping, tour guiding...etc
